About:
Megan Thiele Strong, Ph.D., is a professor at San José State University and a 2023-24 Public Voices Fellow at the TheOpEdProject. She has 20 years experience teaching in undergraduate classrooms, with 15 of those as Instructor of Record. She teaches a breadth of courses, including Environmental Sociology. They currently research and work on social and environmental justice through their Coping with Climate Destabilization Dialogues.
