Lord Parry Mitchell is a tech entrepreneur, advisor and a member of the House of Lords.

A long career in the industry, he has founded, grown and sold three IT companies, and in 2000 joined the House of Lords after being appointed as an advisor on digital policy to Tony Blair.

In this in-depth conversation, he shares why “noticing the beginning of something important and wanting to be a part of it” led him to choose the IT industry; talks through the transformations he has seen at the House of Lords; and discusses his campaign to regulate payday loan companies, which he believes to be one of the greatest achievements of his career.
